The Everett Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened around 2:30 on Monday afternoon. According to EPD, 911 received a report of a man who had been shot at an apartment complex at 2 West Casino Road. Once officers reached the scene, they found a man in his 20s with wounds consistent with a gunshot.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. EPD said the suspect is believed to be inside an apartment in the area. Authorities are applying for a search warrant and SWAT is on the scene.
