Dover Police arrest 15-year-old and 13-year-old for murder of Juwan Walker

Dover, Delaware – The Delaware Police Department has announced the arrests of two suspects in the fatal shooting of Juwan Walker on Christmas Eve.

According to DPD, its Special Operations Response Team carried out a search warrant at a residence in the unit block of Stevenson Drive on December 28, 2024.

A 13-year-old suspect was arrested during the search and transported to the Dover Police Department for processing. A 15-year-old male was arrested at an apartment in the 400 block of Country Drive.

Police say the 13-year-old was committed to Stevenson House Detention Center with a $181,000 cash bail. He is charged with Murder 2nd Degree, Conspiracy First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2x), Reckless Endangering in the First Degree, and Criminal Mischief Over $1,000 under $5,000.

The 15-year-old was also booked into the Stevenson House Detention Center with a $181,000 cash bail. The 15-year-old is facing the same charges. DPD says it will not be releasing the names or photographs of the suspects at this time.
