According to a news release from the Metropolitan Police, a teen has been charged with murder in Hackney. Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of Lianne Gordon have charged a 16-year-old boy with her murder. Authorities say the boy was taken into custody in the early hours of December 8 in east London.
The 16-year-old was charged on December 9 with the murder of Lianne Gordon and the attempted murders of a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, according to authorities. The boy was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The accused is scheduled to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 11. Police responded to a reported shooting outside an address in Vine Close E5 on December 5 at 18:28 hours. Officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service reached the scene where they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
42-year-old Lianne Gordon passed away at the scene. A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were taken to the hospital for treatment and discharged.
