The Denver Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened earlier tonight. According to a DPD social media post, the Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting in the area of Colfax and Spruce. Initially, one person was transported to an area hospital and the extent of their injuries was not known.
In a later update, DPD confirmed that the adult male victim had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. DPD says no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing so updates will be posted by the Denver Police Department as they become available.
