The Denver Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred on November 30 around 6:22 PM in the 800 block of North Gaylord Street. DPD said officers responded to that location after receiving reports of a shooting in the area.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later passed away. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Michael Milligan. Detectives say they have identified the suspect who fatally shot the victim as Travis Jamahl Jackson.

Jackson was arrested on the afternoon of December 7, 2023. He is currently being held for investigation of First-Degree Murder.
