A 23-year-old Bridgeville man is in custody following an investigation into a fatal shooting on November 25, 2023, in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive. Ian’Tae Albury was remanded to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,160,000 cash bond.

Delaware State Police troopers were dispatched to the above location at approximately 3:33 p.m. on November 25, to investigate a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was later identified as Daquan Lake.

IanTae Albury was apprehended in Bridgeville on December 29, 2023. Albury has been charged with first-degree murder and multiple firearm offenses.
