The Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of a teen in connection to a robbery. According to an MPD media release, members of the Third District arrested a juvenile for robbery after he allegedly stole a coat from a victim at gunpoint. Around 10:14 p.m. on January 24, 2024, the suspect approached the victim in the 500 block of Q Street Northwest.

The suspect reportedly pulled a gun and demanded the victim’s coat. After the victim compiled, the suspect fled the scene. On March 9, 2024, a 14-year-old male from Northwest DC was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.
