The Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in the slaying of two brothers. According to a news release from the DC Metropolitan Police Department, the Homicide Branch announced an arrest in the fatal shooting of two men in Northeast DC.

Fifth District officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of 4th Street NE for a report of a shooting around 12:04 a.m. on December 12, 2023. At the scene, officers located 28-year-old Octavio Quintano and 35-year-old Osmine Quintano in the roadway suffering from gunshot wound injuries.

The victims passed away at the scene. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department apprehended 24-year-old Ronzoni Jackson Jr. on December 17, 2023. Jackson is charged with two counts of First Degree Murder while Armed.
