A press release from the DC Metropolitan Police Department explains that the Homicide Branch is investigating a shooting that killed a man in Northwest DC. Fourth District officers responded to the 1400 block of Buchanan Street NW in reference to a shooting around 6:54 PM on December 12, 2023.

Once officers reached the scene, they located a man with gunshot wound injuries. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. DC Metropolitan Police identified the victim as 49-year-old Neil Clark.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099.
