The Davenport Police Department has announced charges against three individuals in a homicide investigation. On February 7, 2024, DPD announced charges against Devon B. Braet, Adriana M. Blake (Prieto), and Melisa M. Weber in connection to the 5200 block of Division Street homicide investigation.

DPD said 34-year-old Braet and 27-year-old Blake had been arrested previously on unrelated charges and remain in custody. They are facing two counts of 1st Degree Murder, two counts of Abuse of a Corpse, 2nd Degree Arson, and related charges.

49-year-old Weber was arrested on February 7 and booked into the Scott County Jail. Weber is charged with 2nd Degree Arson, Accessory After the Fact, and two counts of Abuse of a Corpse.
