Danville, Virginia – The Danville Police Department is investigating a road rage incident in the 3400 block of Riverside Drive.

According to a DPD statement, officers responded to the scene following a report of someone lying in the roadway around 4:45 p.m.

Police say a 52-year-old man was transported from the scene. Traffic is being diverted while the investigation continues.

Police are not providing any other details at this time.
