Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a series of restaurant burglaries that occurred on March 13, 2024. While deputies were investigating a burglary at Golden Krust at 1485 E. Highway 34, it was brought to their attention that the Oriental Marketplace was also hit. Golden Krust and Oriental Marketplace share the same building.

Deputies believe the same suspect is connected to a series of restaurant burglaries in Newnan. Big Joe’s Bar & Grill, Sweet Krunch, Marco’s Pizza, and Captain D’s also reported burglaries.

The combined burglaries cost local restaurants about $800.
