In Kentucky, the Covington Police Department said it was investigating an incident in the area of 6th and Bakewell. Around 7:43 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Bakewell for a report of shots fired. Once officers reached the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.

The man was transported to UC Medical Center where he is in stable condition. The Covington Police Department does not believe there is any danger to the public. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact detectives at 859-292-2234 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
