Original – The Conway Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to the murder of Israel Credit Jr. CPD says that detectives have worked diligently over the past two days to identify a suspect in the homicide.

According to CPD, Montrell Simmons emerged as a person of interest. The investigation reportedly uncovered evidence linking Simmons to the homicide. On the afternoon of July 24, Simmons was arrested in Little Rock, Arkansas with assistance from LRPD and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

CPD confirms the investigation is ongoing.
