Update – LPSO says the investigation began in July 2024. Detectives allegedly determined that both suspects were involved in sex acts with children. During the investigation, detectives say they also found 96 videos of humans engaging in sexual acts with animals.

New warrants were obtained for the Theriot couple. Jorden and Jennie are now charged with 96 counts of sexual abuse of an animal. The investigation is ongoing.

Original – A husband and wife from Cut Off, Louisiana have been arrested on a slew of charges, including Rape and Pornography Involving Juveniles. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that 34-year-old Jorden Theriot and his wife, 33-year-old Jennie Theriot, were arrested.

Both are convicted felons. In mid-July 2024, juvenile detectives initiated an investigation following a report of possible sexual abuse involving more than one child. LPSO says both suspects were allegedly involved in sex acts with children.

Detectives obtained search warrants for two residences. During the searches, authorities say they found 14 firearms with a large amount of ammunition. Several types of narcotics were also allegedly found.

The suspects were booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. Jorden Theriot is charged with the following.

• 2x First Degree Rape
• Pornography Involving Juveniles
• 14x Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
• Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
• Obstruction of Justice
• Possession of Valium
• Possession of Morphine
• Possession of Marijuana

His bail has been set at $820,500. Jennie Theriot has been charged with the following.

• 2x Principal to First Degree Rape
• Pornography Involving Juveniles
• Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
• 14x Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
• Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substances
• Obstruction of Justice
• Possession of Valium
• Possession of Xanax
• Possession of Morphine
• Possession of Marijuana

Her bail has been set at $1,245,500. LPSO says Jennie Theriot is being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole due to a probation violation.
