In Indiana, the Columbus Police Department is investigating after a man was found deceased in the parking lot of the Indiana University. CPD reports that a 40-year-old local man died in the parking lot of the Indiana University – Columbus at 4601 Central Avenue on Wednesday.

The university was temporarily locked down as a result. CPD says there is no danger to the public and the lockdown has since been lifted. Detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the man’s death. No other details are available at this time.
