A 20-year-old, a 19-year-old, and an 18-year-old were arrested in Columbia, Missouri following a large disturbance. The Columbia Police Department reports that officers responded to a large disturbance and shots fired in the 10 block of South Ninth Street around 3 a.m. on May 19.
CPD detectives say the incident started as a large physical disturbance around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway and South Ninth Street. Around 3 a.m., an adult female passenger in a vehicle was hit by gunfire.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 19-year-old Tanikya Dunn was arrested for First-Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action. 20-year-old Kalvin Johnson was arrested on three counts of First-Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action.
18-year-old Jearlissia Jackson was arrested for First-Degree Assault.
