The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who is wanted for multiple felony warrants. The suspect may also be involved in a shooting that occurred in Longview. On the morning of January 9, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance between a man and a woman in Clatskanie. The male suspect, 23-year-old Jordan Shane Harris, had fled in a blue 2005 Subaru Impreza before deputies reached the scene.

CCSO said in a social media post that Harris is wanted for multiple felony warrants and for possibly being involved in a shooting in Longview. When Harris fled the area, he was reportedly in possession of a handgun. Despite an extensive search of the surrounding area, Harris was not located.

The Sheriff’s Office said it had received multiple tips and possible sightings of the blue 2005 Subaru. Around 5:50 p.m., a citizen reported seeing a suspicious vehicle on Skeans Road in Rainier. The vehicle was found a short time later on Washington Street. The vehicle had been spray painted white and was still running but unoccupied. Jordan Harris remains at large. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
