The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a stabbing related to a road rage incident. Around 4:40 p.m. on December 27, 2023, Sand Creek Division officers responded to a road rage incident that happened near North Circle Drive and East St Vrain Street. Police say that the reporting party claimed they had stabbed the other driver and that the other driver had left in their vehicle.

Officers were informed that the injured driver had gone to an area hospital. Officers responded to the hospital to speak to the stabbed individual. Colorado Springs Police Department Assault Unit detectives were notified and assumed control of the investigation.

All involved parties have been identified, according to Colorado Springs Police. No arrests have been made at this time.
