The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has announced that one of its Crossing Guards has been arrested and terminates. CCSO says a school crossing guard who was employed part-time has been terminated following his arrest.

Johnny Ray Long was arrested in an incident that occurred on August 2, 2024. It is alleged that Long exposed himself to a woman at a local business. CCSO explains that Long was not on duty at the time of the incident.
