The Clarksville Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Carlos Wills of Lebanon, Tennessee. CPD reports that its officers responded to Ash Ridge Drive for a man with a gunshot wound around 12:30 a.m. on September 10, 2024.

The victim was transported to Nashville and placed on life support but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The victim was later identified as 18-year-old Carlos Wills. Detectives identified the suspect as 20-year-old Za’Kwon Jaterrion Holliday of Clarksville.

On Friday evening, Holliday was taken into custody in Nashville. CPD Detectives are also looking for 19-year-old Davontay Tyrek Spencer who was allegedly present at the time of the shooting.
