Chicago Police looking for vehicle in relation to fatal hit and run crash

The Chicago Police Department is searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash. Around 1:25 a.m. on January 7, 2024, a pedestrian was crossing the street at the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Ashland Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Ashland Avenue.

Police say the collision occurred around 2758 North Ashland Avenue. The victim suffered fatal injuries. Chicago Police are looking for a white four-door 2009 to 2014 Nissan Murano with a moon roof. The vehicle should have front-end damage such as a damaged hood and a missing Nissan front-end grill.
