Chicago Police Department has announced charges against a 21-year-old man in the shooting of a 24-year-old man. 21-year-old Quijuan Waters, of Oswego, has been charged with one count of Attempted First-Degree Murder.

Waters was taken into custody by members of the Chicago Police Department around 11:37 a.m. on December 27, 2023 in the 5600 block of South Wabash Avenue. Less than 15 minutes earlier, Waters allegedly shot and seriously injured a 24-year-old victim in the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue.
