The Chicago Police Department has announced the arrest of a 24-year-old Alsip man in connection to an August 2017 fatal shooting. According to a CPD news release, 24-year-old Antonio Dickerson was arrested and charged with one felony count of First-Degree Murder. Dickerson is also charged with six counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder and six counts of Aggravated Battery/Discharge of Firearm.
CPD says members of the Chicago Police Department and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested the offender on March 26, 2024 in the 11800 block of South Karlov in Alsip. Dickerson is accused of participating in a fatal shooting in the 0-100 block of East 37th Pl on August 8, 2017 that took the life of a 28-year-old male.
