A Chicago man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 70-year-old man. CPD reports that 64-year-old John Kastanes has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery/Discharge Firearm, and Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm.
CPD alleges that Kastanes shot and injured a 70-year-old man in the 3800 block of North Keeler Avenue. Ten minutes after the shooting, CPD officers took Kastanes into custody.
The suspect was apprehended around 10:59 a.m. on June 13 in the 3800 block of North Keleler Avenue. No other details are available at this time.
