The Chicago Police Department has announced the arrest of a juvenile offender in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old female. A 16-year-old male juvenile is facing one felony count of First-Degree Murder.

The accused was arrested by members of the Chicago Police Department in the 2400 block of North Lockwood Avenue on December 11, 2023. The juvenile is accused of being one of the offenders who participated in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old female in the 5700 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue around 4:09 PM on August 19, 2023.

The offender was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
