The Chesapeake Police Department is currently investigating a double shooting that occurred late Friday night. CPD says its officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 4200 block of Reid Street around 10:11 p.m. on October 11, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found an adult male victim and an adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
