The Charlottesville Police Department is investigating a shooting incident in the area of Hardy Drive. According to a social media post from CPD, it is investigating a shots fired incident. One victim is receiving treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police advise that there will be a heavy police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
