The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is currently investigating a triple shooting at an Airbnb. CMPD reports that its officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call in the 1600 block of Hollow Drive around 1:21 a.m. on September 15, 2024.

CMPD confirms the location was an Airbnb that was rented for an event. At the scene, responding officers found three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. MEDIC transported three victims to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries.

One victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased after arriving at the hospital. CMPD’s Homicide Unit detectives and Crime Scene Search responded to the scene. At this time, no other details are available.
