The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a death. CCSO reports that its deputies are on the scene of a death investigation in the area of Grapefruit Lane in Punta Gorda.
No other details are available at this time. CCSO warns locals that there will be a heavy law enforcement presence in the area as the investigation continues.
