The Houston Police Department has announced that charges have been filed against 22-year-old Alize Velosa for allegedly stabbing a family member. The stabbing occurred at 412 North Sam Houston Parkway East around 12:10 a.m. on January 10, 2024. Velosa is charged with aggravated assault of a family member.

The 38-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. HPD officers responded to the aforementioned address and found the victim with multiple lacerations. The victim was transported to the hospital. Investigators say the victim and suspect are partners who were involved in a verbal argument that turned into a stabbing.
