Carpentry teacher Edward White charged for allegedly inappropriately touching two juvenile students

The Middlesex County Prosecutor has announced that a 56-year-old man has been charged with Criminal Sexual Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Authorities say an investigation revealed that Edward White of Tinton Falls, New Jersey had inappropriately touched two students on separate occasions while employed as a carpentry teacher at the Middlesex County Perth Amboy Magnet School.

Edward White surrendered to the Perth Amboy Police Department on December 13, 2023. He is facing two counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact and two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

White was booked into the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
