Calgary Police arrest Masood Mohammad and Harliv Singh Cheema in shooting on Glenmore Trail

Calgary Police have announced the arrest of two men in connection to a shooting on Glenmore Trail. Around 2:45 p.m. on September 30, 2023, a driver called police to report a shooting involving two vehicles on westbound Glenmore Trail around 37th Street SW.

Authorities say both vehicles fled the scene and no injuries were reported. Roughly thirty minutes later, police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Seton Passage Southeast for a report of a man shot while parking his vehicle.

At the scene, police found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Authorities believe the suspect fired multiple rounds during the Seton shooting. Stray bullets struck four surrounding residences.
