The Caldwell Police Department is investigating a sexual assault by an unknown male suspect. Around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to a single-family residence in the area of Middleton Road and Highway 20/26 after a victim reported a sexual assault in her residence.

The unknown male suspect may be armed. He is considered dangerous. CPD detectives would like to speak to anyone who has noticed anything unusual or suspicious in the area. The suspect may be driving a white GMC Denali with black trim and black wheels.
