The Burlington Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to a non-fatal shooting on April 14. BPD reports that its Criminal Investigations Division continues investigating the April 14 shooting on Vanderbilt Court.

One 17-year-old female victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. BPD has identified the suspect in the case as 19-year-old Kayden LeCharles Trice who has since been arrested.

Trice is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury with Intent to Kill, Possession of a Weapon of Mass Death and Destruction, and Going Armed to the Terror of the Public.

Trice has been booked into the Alamance County Detention Center where he remains without bond.
