Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announces charges against man accused of killing 82-year-old mother

A man has been charged in connection to the slaying of his 82-year-old mother. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office reports that William Michael Ingram is charged with killing his 82-year-old mother inside their condo in the Holland section of Northampton Township.

The announcement was made by District Attorney Jennifer Schorn on Thursday. On Sunday morning, Dolores Ingram was found deceased inside a condo at 26024 Beacon Hill Drive during a check on her well-being.

49-year-old William Ingram was taken into custody in Washington D.C. for assaulting an officer and damaging a police vehicle on Sunday. Ingram reportedly told several officers that he killed his mother.

An autopsy determined that the victim suffered multiple injuries,  including slicing wounds, lacerations, and blunt force trauma. Her death was determined to be a homicide. On Thursday, William Ingram was return to Bucks County.

He is charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Mischief, Abuse of a Corpse, Cruelty to Animals, and more.
