Homicide detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office have released new video in hopes of finding new leads in a deadly shooting at a Wilton Manors home. Around 10:45 p.m. on September 10, 2023, authorities received a report of shots fired near 501 NW 28th Court in Wilton Manors.

Wilton Manors Police Department officers responded to the scene where they located an adult male inside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Broward Health North where he succumbed to his injuries. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify the suspects responsible for the fatal shooting of Arland Cata.

The video released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office shows the shooting. The suspects can be seen running across the victim’s driveway before at least a dozen gunshots are heard. The suspects flee the residence and get into a white four-door sedan before more shots are fired.
