Broward Sheriff’s Office investigating triple shooting in North Lauderdale that left one man deceased

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a triple shooting that occurred on Sunday morning. According to a BCSO news release, Broward County Regional Communications received a call about a shooting in front of the Player’s Sports Bar & Grill at 5280 North State Road 7 in North Lauderdale around 3:41 a.m. on Sunday. Deputies responded to the scene to investigate.

Three victims were located at the scene. 26-year-old DeAndre Major succumbed to injuries. The other two victims are a 36-year-old male from Coral Springs and a 30-year-old male from Miami. Based on the preliminary investigation, BCSO says three shooting victims were transported to two area hospitals.

The two surviving victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Homicide Detectives responded to assume control of the investigation. No other details are available at this time.
