Broward Sheriff’s Office has identified the 21-year-old male victim fatally shot in the 7000 Block of Northwest 79^th Avenue. Mateo Delgado, 21, of Margate, Florida suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On November 22, 2023, at about 7:31 p.m., Broward Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fires in the 7000 block of Northwest 79^th Avenue in Tamarac. Following a preliminary investigation, detectives believe Delgado was shot inside a vehicle before it crashed into a utility pole.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the Tamarac fatal shooting that claimed the life of Mateo Delgado to call 954-321-4274.
