The Broken Arrow Police Department has announced the arrest of a Kansas murder suspect. Around 12:30 p.m. on October 1, 2024, BAPD officers arrested 56-year-old Joseph Ferraro on a First-Degree Murder warrant out of Wilson County, Kansas.
The Kansas State Bureau of Investigation reached out to BAPD for assistance after Ferraro’s phone coordinates were located in the city of Broken Arrow. KBI investigators believed the suspect was driving a tan Chevy Traverse.
Initial attempts to find Ferraro were unsuccessful. Officer Kolar eventually found the vehicle in a parking lot at 2600 North Aspen Avenue and took the suspect into custody. No other details are available at this time.
