The Boulder Police Department is investigating what it calls a suspicious death after a body was found on July 14. BPD reports that its officers responded to the 1800 block of Goss Street for an unusual bike trailer that had been at the location for several days just after 5 p.m. on July 14, 2024.

Officers reached the scene and found a body wrapped in multiple layers on the bike trailer. BPD detectives say the unhoused female victim was identified Tuesday. Detectives are speaking to multiple potential witnesses.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office is investigating to determine the cause and manner of death. No other details are available at this time.
