December 31, 2023, The Fugitive Unit with the Boston Police Department arrested a 19-year-old and 21-year-old in the December 30^th fatal shooting of 41-year-old Curtis Effee of Boston. Tyreese Robinson of Randolph and Dasahn Crowder of Quincy were arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 417 Geneva Avenue on December 30, 2023, at approximately 12:52 a.m. to investigate a person shot. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found Curtis Effee suffering from gunshot wounds. Effee succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Robinson and Crowder have been charged with murder.
