The Boston Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting around 12:52 a.m. on December 30, 2023. Officers with District C-11 responded to the area of 417 Geneva Avenue after receiving a report of a person shot. At the scene, officers found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds.

The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. At this time, no arrests have been made. BPD said in a press release that its Homicide Unit is reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the shooting.
