The Bogalusa Police Department is investigating a shooting at the Bogalusa High School basketball game. According to BPD, officers working the basketball game heard several gunshots coming from the area of MJ Israel Drive at Avenue B. Once officers responded to the location, they found two black male subjects suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to Our Lady of the Angels Hospital for treatment. Both were identified as juveniles. Police say one of the victims succumbed to his injuries. The other victim is being treated by hospital staff.
