Birmingham, Alabama – A person has been fatally stabbed in Birmingham, Alabama. According to the Birmingham Police Department, officers responded to a person stabbed at a residence in the 2500 block of 15th Street Ensley just after 7 p.m.

At the scene, officers entered a residence where they found an adult male unresponsive. The victim suffered an apparent stab wound. Authorities say the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
