Birmingham Police Department arrests 35-year-old man in connection to slaying of Roderick Levann Davis

The Birmingham Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to the fatal assault of Roderick Levann Davis. According to BPD, detectives obtained an arrest warrant in the case. The victim, Roderick Levann Davis, was physically assaulted and killed on March 23, 2024 in the 400 block of 1st Street West.

BPD has identified the suspect as 35-year-old Terrell Dewayne Humphrey II of Birmingham, Alabama. The suspect surrendered to police and remains in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond. After detectives presented case information to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, detectives obtained a warrant for murder.
