The Billings Police Department is investigating a possible road rage incident in the 800 block of Radford Square West. BPD reports that officers responded to the aforementioned location for an assault around 9:12 p.m. on June 6, 2024.
One party was severely injured and the other involved party had left the scene. Once officers arrived, they located a 55-year-old male receiving medical care from bystanders. A 17-year-old male returned to the scene.
The 55-year-old male was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. BPD says the initial investigation indicates that a physical altercation occurred in the roadway between the 17-year-old and the 55-year-old.
It is believed it started as a road rage incident. BPD says the 17-year-old is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
