An 18-year-old male has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a 17-year-old girl in Billings, Montana. The Billings Police Department reports that officers responded to the area of 2000 Willet Drive on May 25 for a reported shooting.
At the scene, responding BPD officers found a 17-year-old female victim. It is believed the victim had gone to a friend’s house. Police were notified a short time later. Police discovered the location of the incident and responded to the scene.
Once officers identified the suspect, phone contact was made. The suspect turned himself in to authorities and was arrested without incident. An 18-year-old was remanded into YCDF on related charges. The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.
