The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the remains found are believed to be that of Gabriella Dixon. BCSO reports that the discovery was made with assistance from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
On July 24, 2024, human remains were discovered in a wooded area by a construction crew in Monroe County. It is believed that the remains belong to Gabriella Dixon. The remains will be identified by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
A person of interest was arrested at a residence in Monroe County on the same day. BCSO says the arrest was completed during the execution of an arrest warrant. On October 31, 2024, Dixon was reported missing.
Authorities identified 19-year-old Jatarvius Deangelo Price as a person of interest. Price was arrested on November 17, 2024 and charged with Making False Statements and Tampering with Evidence.
He was bonded out on November 18, 2023. Today, Price was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
