A woman has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at the Haven Inn Suites on April 10. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that its Gang Unit and US Marshals apprehended a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Anthonio Dewayne McNeill.
On April 10, 2024 around 3:20 a.m., BCSO received a report of a death at the Haven Inn and Suites at 107 Holiday Drive North. At the scene, deputies found McNeill suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim succumbed to his injuries. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators say they identified 36-year-old Lakesia Renee Williams as the suspect in the fatal shooting.
Around 4:41 p.m. today, an arrest warrant was served. Williams was taken into custody at the Economy Hotel at 4295 Pio Nono Avenue. She was booked on a charge of murder and is being held without bond.
